A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Aaron and Katherine's wedding. They are a wonderful couple who are passionately in love with one another. The intense way the look at each other tells it all. They got married at my home church, Trinity Chapel, and they were the first to have the ceremony out in the new lobby!! I thought it turned out beautiful and I hope more couple decide to do theirs there too. Here are a few pictures from the wedding day. harrison's bar mitzvah

A couple of weekends ago I photographed Harrison's Bar Mitzvah at Villa Christina. Harrison loves golf and is a fantastic player so the theme was all about golf. His mom, Judy, came up with some great ideas and the party was never lacking entertainment or food. As one event started to slack down a new one started. It looked like everyone was having a blast. Here are a few detail shots that made this party awesome! Congratulations Harrison!!

chase and jessica - wedding

First off I want to go ahead and apologize for the long post, but I tried to narrow down the pictures I wanted to post and it was really hard. Jessica and Chase had an incredible wedding with awesome details! They loved the camera and the camera loved them. Their family and wedding party were great to work with and made my job easy. Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of meeting Harrison! Next week he is going to Israel for his Bar Mitzvah and then coming back here to have a party celebrating his great accomplishment! I asked him if he could resite part of it but he wouldn't so we talked about more important things like school, golf, and his upcoming trip! We had a great time and he even admitted that it ended up being more fun then he thought which made me happy! I can't wait for the party they have a lot of cool stuff planned and can't wait to see it! Here are a few of my favorites.

a rehearsal dinner - red, white, & black

Last Friday night I had a lot of fun hanging out with Jessica and Chase along with their family and friends. They wanted me there to capture the rehearsal dinner because they had planned out a lot of fun activities with great detail. When I got Le Jardin Blanc I was thrilled with all the details and knew that the next day would be just a beautiful. Chase is 3rd generation firefighter in his family so the theme was red, white, & black with firefighter gear for decorations. Jeri the owner of Le Jardin Blanc also brought out the croquet set for the wedding party to play. Then after dinner the fire pit was lit and everyone enjoyed making their own smores' for dessert. It was a lovely evening and I was glad to be a part of it.



This is how Chase greeted me. He knows how to pose for the camera! It looks like Ike, the pastor, was saying a little prayer for him :)

christy and cory - wedding

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of joining Christy and Cory on their wedding day. It was great day and their friends and family were so wonderful. Everyone was relaxed and ready to party! Here are some of my favorite images of the day and if you want to see more here is the slideshow!

chase and jessica - engagement

Last weekend I had the pleasure of doing engagement pictures for Chase and Jessica. They are getting married in May and the wedding is going to be so beautiful!

We meet at Chase's grandparent's home and it is such an amazing place full of "picture" opportunities. In fact, about 5 or 6 years ago when I was first starting out I did another engagement session there, for Chase's sister. It was fun going back and creating a whole new set of images.

For Chase and Jessica it was important to include their puppy dogs. I love when couples want to bring their own special uniqueness (is that a word) into the session. Anyway one of the dogs got away and started runny through the tall grass and Chase went after almost stepping on a hugh snake in the process. That night I went to sleep having not so nice dreams of snakes! - Thanks Chase :)

christy and cory - engagement

I always love when I get a call from someone that I know from my past. Christy called me and told me she was referred to me by Sandra Cook, her caterer! We talked on the phone for a few minutes and realized that we had gone to high school together and she graduated just a couple of years behind me. So I was excited to meet up with her and finally meet Cory her fiance for and engagement session in Smyrna at the new Smyrna Jubilee. She and Cory are so sweet and perfect for each other. It was great hanging out with them! Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Shelby and Clint featured in The Knot!

Just a few days ago in the hustle and bustle of the Christmas festivities I got "The Knot" in the mail (I think it comes out to the public in January). It features a couple of mine, Shelby and Clint, in the just married section. The George Family

Here is the third family I did a few weekends ago. I love being able to see the same families year after year. The families get bigger by numbers and the children grow up. This family has just gotten more beautiful! The little boy Cade is just a heartbreaker don't you think! This year I actually get to see the George Family twice because on Christmas Eve day I am doing another session with them and their extended family that will be in town!
