kirstin and barry in nashville

this weekend i meet kirstin and barry in nashville for their engagement session. they live in kentucky but are getting married here in georgia at the ritz carlton in reynolds plantation. jason and i got there early to scout out locations and visit with an old friend. there are some beautiful spots up there. unfortunately kirstin called and said they were running late. jason and i decided to go to target to see if we would have an star sightings. lately i had been reading nicole kidman and keith urban had been shopping their. no sighting sad to say but it was still fun. right at dark kirstin and barry show up and all of our places we scouted out earlier were outside. so we begged the desk man at this old hotel/train station to let us shoot in the lobby. it ended up being a lot of fun and we got great pictures.

wedding in suwannee, georgia

today was chip and diana's wedding in suwannee, georgia. they live in this beautiful community with a fantastic club house and an even better view. first we went to this great little church that had windows lining both sides which made me excited to have all that great available light. photographers love available light because it makes our job better. more flattering light and no flash makes for a more realistic image. anyway after the ceremony we went to the club house where the party started. holly and lindsey

i love sisters they can be your best friend or sometimes your best enemy. holly and lindsey seem to be pretty good friends and sisters. today i took pictures of them together but manly concentrated on holly because she is a senior this year. here are my favorite pictures. it was a hot hot hot evening!

marian and joe's wedding, athens

i just got back from marian and joe's wedding and it went really good. the event took place at a relatives house all outside. the threat of rain was loaming in the air. luckily it only rained during the ceremony which was under the tent. they have a ton of relatives on both sides and to honor and acknowledge them each got a yellow flower to pin on their shoulder. i love that idea and i love details like that. it makes each wedding different. here are some of my favorites. here's your slideshow

pregnancy pictures for jennifer

jason's business partner and our good friends are eight months pregnant and she wanted to document her pregnancy through photography. she asked me if i would do and it i said of course. drew and jennifer are so cute and a great couple they got married right out of high school so they were high school sweethearts. they are younger then us but have been married way longer then jason and i. i know they are going to be great parents and little justice is going to be one lucky baby. here are the pictures from our session.

home from jekyll island wedding
