alison and ricky's wedding

today was really sweet. alison and ricky got married in their church. it was so apparent that they were loved by their pastor, their parents, and their friends. i love ceremonies that have a personal aspect to them the officiant was their youth pastor growing up so he had stories to tell the guest which had everyone laughing and crying. after the ceremony we went to ricky's aunt and uncle's estate and had a fabulous party to celebrate the newly weds. take a look at a few of the pictures. then if you want more click here for the slideshow

it is official

today i went to see my doctor and i am officially pregnant. we couldn't figure out my due date so i go back in two weeks to get an ultrasound. they will measure the baby, check out the heartbeat, and then will be able to tell me an accurate date. stay tuned. how exciting and scary at the same time. i feel good though. no morning sickness as of yet, just a little tired.

shhhh i have a secret

jason and i are pregnant!!!!! today i took three test and all came out positive i will have to go to doctor to confirm and find out our due date but as of right now we have a bundle of joy on the way! i just wanted to share our exciting news with all my friends. check back for updates.

kudos to brian

so today i went to meet rachel and brian for their engagement session. rachel and i had been going back and forth trying to find a cool spot to take the pictures and the night before she called to tell me brian thought of one and told me where to meet them. when we got there rachel and i were so excited about the great location. thanks to brian we got some great shots! i will see them again at their wedding in november.

back at serenbe

last week i went back up to serenbe inn with tiffany and aaron to take advantage of the beautiful scenery that we didn't get a to do on the wedding day. these are called we did pictures and is becoming a popular trend for couples to book a session after wedding day so we can get more pictures of them in the wedding attire. we had so much fun and the pictures turned out great!

Samantha and James

A couple of weekends ago I tagged along to a wedding with Liana when she asked Alecia and me if we wanted to help. Liana told us Sam and James' wedding would be a blast and the were an awesome couple. She was right, I not only had fun photographing the wedding all day but I had a blast hanging out with all my photography friends. With our busy schedules we don't always get to do that, so it was a special treat. Anyway, I took a ton of pictures because I knew I wouldn't be the one editing :) hehe! Here are a few and if you want to see more of the beautiful wedding check out the slideshow I made of my favorites from the day. By the way, the wedding was in Athens at the Botanical Gardens. I hear that brides are put on the waiting list to have their wedding there, but it is totally worth it. It was so pretty!

my first time published

the publisher of the knot georgia emailed me and notified me that one of my weddings have been selected to be published for a real wedding article! i am so excited and the couple they selected are going to be blown away. I will let everyone know when to go pick up a copy! yea!

Amanda and Darren

I just finished a photo shoot with Amanda and Darren. I am photographing their wedding in September and I can't wait. We had a lot of fun and they were so excited about the turn out. An Awesome Wedding at Serenbe Farms

I just shot a picture perfect wedding at Serenbe Farms for Tiffany and Aaron. It was so much fun. The rain came a couple of times during the day but right before the ceremony it stopped and was perfect the rest of the evening. Tiffany and Aaron were such good sports about the weather. I also had the pleasure to have Shawna Herring join me as a second photographer. We had a lot of fun and can't wait to do it again! Take a look at their slideshow for more pictures.

It was raining a little bit after the wedding for like two seconds and I gave the bride and groom my umbrella. It turned out to be one of my favorite shots.
