already middle of october!

What even happened to september? I can't believe we are in the middle of october, one of my favorite months. I love this month because the heat finally lets up and starts to cool down. I love all the colors in the landscape and more recently in the past couple of years I have fallen in love with October 31st for only one reason - I get to dress up my baby girl. She is such a good sport and posed perfectly for the mama hen :) Here are a few of my favorites. We got this costume at babystyle. Also for a really great place for fellowship and fun on Halloween night you can come to our church, Trinity Chapel for Hallowed Be Thy Name. There will be rides, carnival games, food, and treats. The best part about it is that it is a safe place to be and it is free admission, free rides, and free games! Check it out - after you check out Olivia the chickadee!

emily and adam

it rained through three scheduled sessions. each time we would have to cancel and schedule again. the two places they wanted to go to for their session was not going to be rain friendly. so we waited and waited. finally we lucked out as usual and meet on one of the most beautiful days. blues skies, cool air! emily and adam were a pleasure to hang out with and they made my job easy because they were just so darn cute :) adam was constantly worried he looked goofy next emily but i assured him he didn't. anyway i can't wait until there wedding in a couple of weeks. they are going to have an amazing rehearsal dinner which i am attending and the wedding is going to be great as well. below are some of my favs of the day and click here if you want to view more on their slideshow!

brandi and terry's wedding

september 6th turned out to be a beautiful! i went to celebrate and photograph brandi and terry's wedding at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee

. When I first arrived at the girls villa everyone was getting ready with hair and makeup. All the girls were relax and calm hanging out as if it were an ordinary day. Except it wasn't ! Just a few short hours from the time I arrived Brandi and Terry would unite in front of friends and family to say I do. The background was breathtaking with the lake behind them making the ceremony have peaceful calm. Once the ceremony was over though the calm was gone and everyone put their dancing shoes on to celebrate in style. The party was full of energy and it was just plain fun! Silly Justice

I just finished taking pictures of Justice for his two year pictures. While I was editing the photos I noticed this funny sequence of three shots I took right in a row. I have never played with animation before but it turned out to pretty easy! Maybe I will do it more often now.

lauren and caleb's wedding

last sunday i spent the day with lauren and caleb. we started out in the brides room with all the girls at the ritz carlton. lauren had a beautiful calm about her. the timeline was in place, the details where perfected, everyone knew what to do. it was a perfect day. the dress. the flowers. the gifts. the bride. the groom. perfect. what made it even more perfect for me was that i had a little help from my friend shawna herring. her work is incredible and i was excited that she could help me out.

the yummy cake was made by mcentyresbakery. the flowers were put together by the guy who worked on the tyler perry movies, mart dawson. lauren and caleb used both the imperial room and georgian room at the biltmore ballrooms

i can't believe it snowed!!!!

i love the snow. i love the snow so much i am like a little kid excited when show comes. it hasn't snowed in quite some time here in georgia and now it has two times in one week. what is it about snow that everyone loves. i love it because it always seems so peaceful when there is a blanket of snow everywhere. jason and i took olivia out in the snow and took some pictures of course she had to taste it too.

hey everyone i just wanted to let you know that we are having technical difficulties with our website and trying to fix. i apologize for any inconvience. in the meantime look through old plog post to look at my work. hopefully we will get it back up soon!

while i am updating...

i started thinking about my 2008 packages while i am doing all this updating i should probably go ahead and update those as well. i usually figure all that out around this time each year anyway. this time i am giving any future clients a heads up. as soon as i am finished updating my blog entries and images on my website, i am going to work on my packages and prices for 2008. if you want my 2007 prices for your event then contact me know so we can give you the old prices before it changes.

no excuses! well maybe....

i am the worst blogger! when i was little and growing up i was never good about keeping a daily diary, so now that i have a blog it has become the same issue. the last time i posted was over a year ago and so much has happened since then. my goal is to back post from the past year and get everyone caught up on my life and photography. a few cliff hangers...22 weddings, plenty of engagements, 3 pregnancies, 1 of them mine, new house, and so much more. i know i can't do this all in one day so keep checking back for the saga to continue. i also will be updating my website with new pictures and new galleries. take this as a relaunch in my business, my life.

okay so maybe i had one little distraction and a good excuse :)
