patricia and matt's wedding

today i got to go back to serenbe inn for another wedding. patricia and matt live up north but both of their families live here. so when matt called to talk to me about the wedding and told me it was at serenbe i was so excited to tell him i was familiar with the place and the area. we booked everything over the phone and got to meet about a month before the wedding just to say hey. patricia and matt are so sweet the wedding reflected them in everyway down to the details. here is a few of my favorites and a slideshow to enjoy!

amanda and darren's wedding

i love amanda she is such an awesome person and we knew from the beginning I was meant to be apart of her and Darren's day. the wedding was held at the park tavern, the room is lined with windows so during the day you get this awesome natural light and at night you get this awesome scenic view of atlanta to look at. the whole day went really well and i have so many favorites i had to combine a few. also here is their slideshow

can you guess what the baby is

okay never mind it's a girl!!! we are so excited about having a baby girl. it was the most emotional thing i have ever been through so far in my life i got to see her on the screen and all her little parts. so sweet. anyway we are going to name olivia laine phillips. i can't believe i am already 5 months.

melissa and jim's wedding

this was probably the craziest labor day weekend ever! on saturday and sunday i had a rehearsal dinner and wedding to attend and photograph. it was at this really cool restaurant in decatur georgia called sun in my belly you have to go there i have heard that their brunches are to die for but call and make sure what day they do that on. on sunday we didn't get home from the wedding until midnight and i still hadn't packed for partner con in la, california. jason and i thought we would go to the pictage convention and have a vacation on the west coast at the same time. our flight left at 7 am so i ended up only getting 3 hours of sleep and i am 5 months pregnant. by the time we got to your hotel my ankles no cankles were the size of an elephants. alright that's my story. we will be in california for the week and be back to work on 9.11.06. here are some of my favorite images from the weekend events!

kirstin and barry in nashville

this weekend i meet kirstin and barry in nashville for their engagement session. they live in kentucky but are getting married here in georgia at the ritz carlton in reynolds plantation. jason and i got there early to scout out locations and visit with an old friend. there are some beautiful spots up there. unfortunately kirstin called and said they were running late. jason and i decided to go to target to see if we would have an star sightings. lately i had been reading nicole kidman and keith urban had been shopping their. no sighting sad to say but it was still fun. right at dark kirstin and barry show up and all of our places we scouted out earlier were outside. so we begged the desk man at this old hotel/train station to let us shoot in the lobby. it ended up being a lot of fun and we got great pictures.

wedding in suwannee, georgia

today was chip and diana's wedding in suwannee, georgia. they live in this beautiful community with a fantastic club house and an even better view. first we went to this great little church that had windows lining both sides which made me excited to have all that great available light. photographers love available light because it makes our job better. more flattering light and no flash makes for a more realistic image. anyway after the ceremony we went to the club house where the party started.
